Where
I came from, who I am, where am I now:
Having been in the medical field,
specializing in biomechanical and surgical treatment of foot
conditions, I retired from active practice after 35 years and sold
my Podiatry practice to my partner.
I have been a lifetime resident of
Cedar Rapids graduating from Regis High School, Loras College in
Dubuque, and medical school in Illinois. I practiced Podiatry from
our main office in Cedar Rapids, with satellite offices in Anamosa
and Manchester. Thus serving the community and surrounding areas. I
have been president of The Linn County Podiatric Medical Society as
well as serving as state President of The Iowa Podiatric Medical
Society. I am board certified by The American Council of Podiatric
Physicians and Surgeons.
Community
Involvement:
Board Member and founder of The
Cedar Rapids Junior Golf Association 1990-present. Member of Cedar
Rapids Jaycees and became JCI Senator (Highest award given
nationally in Jaycee organization). Board member and founding member
of Amana Colonies golf course and current chairman of United Way
Campaign, diabetic awareness, Toys for Tots, youth football program
and junior achievement.
I have represented Iowa and Cedar
Rapids in state and national golf tournaments. Locally I have won
the Cedar Rapids Amateur twice and The City Senior Amateur 7 times.
I have been the state representative to The United State Senior
Amateur twice.
I am now involved in residential,
farm, and commercial real estate. Primarily to stay involved with
the wonderful people of Cedar Rapids and surrounding communities
that I have met through years of medical practice, community
involvement, and competing in golf.
I am a very self competitive
individual which motivates me to be the very best I can be at what
ever I do.
I have always enjoyed helping
people and believe the real estate profession will be a new way for
me to do just that. |
